Category: Zone BBS Q&A
Hello, All:
How Do I Permanently Delete My Zone BBS Account?
How would I delete my Zone BBS Account?
How May I Delete My Zone BBS Account?
first, how many times can you ask different versions of the same question? seriously.
secondly, your question has been asked numerous times before, and the answer is simple. you can't delete your account. you can, however, not log in, if you don't wanna use the site anymore.
You can't permanently delete your zone BBS account.
You won't delete your zone BBS account.
And, you may not delete your zone BBS account.
Hope this answers your questions concisely.
As many have discovered, you can disobey the terms of service flagrantly and often, and, when they get around to it, the cls will disable your account for you.
Or, you could probably send a message to the admins and they can disable your account.

Very true Chelsea, and lmao, Ryan!
These guys have answered your question. You cannot permanently delete your account. If I were you, I would simply delete any information you have filled into your profile so that it is totally blank, and then just never log in again. You could email the admins and ask them to disable it, though they've not done that for people before to my knowledge, so I doubt they'd start now.
good on you, Ryan. wish I had thought of responding that way first.
once again, original poster, just to make it clear, you can't delete your zone BBS account.
there is no way for you to delete your zone BBS account.
deleting your zone BBS account is not possible.
The question is a fair one, frequently asked about Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. In those cases there are ways to permanently delete accounts but sometimes it is a backdoor method. Not unreasonable at all to raise this type of issue.
I suggest doing what Alicia suggested, that being to remove all information from your profile. delete all sent and received private mail, and if particularly industrious go in and change your username to something randon, then set the password to something overtly complex that you won't remember. That would do the trick. We had a situation out here where we did this to someone's Skype a few years ago, for some private reasons.
Because some systems archive a backup of information that was in a profile, you may wish to fill in your profile with 0s or something so the backups have actual text.
Anyway, there are very practical reasons why people remove themselves from online sytsems, not just by staying away but disconnecting, so that they're separated from any security or identity problems. It's the online equivalent to changing the locks on your doors and changing your phone number, when you've had some private situations come up.
Hey guys, the kid is fifteen and most likely new to this online/social networking thing. He's especially new to this site. Maybe his questions a a bit repetative, but don't you think he deserves a bit of a break--just given his circumstances? Alicia and leo were helpful, the rest of you were just harsh. Normally I dont' stick up for people like this but come on. Have a bit of a heart. This is a kid for goodness sake. Have some common sense.
And as leo mentioned, this is a ligitimit question. So maybe he worded it weird and repeated himself. So what?
Fifteen years old is a point where common sense should be apparent.
We may not know what he's like, how he was raised, nor do we take the time to think about it. I don't buy the excuse that he's a kid. We've treated people with the same amount of equality who are slower than us on here. I don't often call people out for this, but I've seen you jump on the bandwagon, particularly when everyone else was throwing someone under the bus. But maybe you've changed.
I answered all three questions, with a hint of sarcasm. But I didn't say, hey, dumb fuck. Don't repeat yourself. You can't delete your account, so sit back and take my and other people's insults up the ass and shut up. Nor did anyone else on here. Chelsea asked a genuine question. What is the point of asking the same question.
yeah ryan, be nice to the kid man :P
oh please. I don't buy this, "he's a kid," crap, and can't believe anyone would.
if the original poster is old enough to be on here, he oughta be old enough to know how things work, or at least have the ability to figure it out, or how to ask for help without repeating himself a dozen times, or how to look for questions like this that have been asked repeatedly on the site.
I don't blame him for raising the issue. Given that you can delete things like Twitter and FB accounts, it would actually make sense if you were able to delete your own account off of here. I've never quite understood why users can't. So, it is a legitimate issue, and I do admit, I myself may have not searched the site thoroughly before asking the question, so I can't say much there.
However, I don't buy the, "He's a kid thing, either." Even at 15, you should have the knowledge that you don't need to ask the same question three times to get your answer.
To the original poster, Leo's suggestions were probably the most thorough of all, and the measures you should take.
Hello, All:
I was not offended by anybody's comments!!
I myself would not buy the "He's A Kid" excuse!! I Repeated myself to show the importance and urgency of the matter! I wanted to stress the importance of my question!! Sorry. I understand that the "Terms Of Service" states that you are not able to delete your account, but, I need to disable my account!! My intentions were not to annoy the shit out of anyone!! My One Intention was to strongly get my Point Across and show the urgency and Importance of the matter!!!! I know that you are not able to multi-account!! I Need To Get Rid Of This Particular Account!! I am sorry if I offended anybody!!
Thank You, All!!
Thanks Leo for the great suggestions!!
Thank You All for the help!!
One, Why do you Neeeeeed to get rid of the account. Is anyone after you with a sword, swearing to slash you in two if you don't get rid of it? Just curious. What's the urgency.
Second, I don't knwo if you knwo this, but simply saying that you urgently need to get rid of the account once would have done the trick. Reiterating a simple question several times in one post is not going to convey urgency. It's going to convey, well...I dont' know...confusion and annoyance. You don't translate urgency in the way of of paraphrasing your original question multiple times. Not where I come from at least. Just a thought.
1. Private and Personal reasons.
2. I suppose you are right.
Lame
Yeah, Yeah, Dave!!
